Instrumentation Limited (IL) is a profitable, dividend paying Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) under Ministry of Heavy Industries, Govt of India. The Made in India products of IL serve the Strategic Sector - Nuclear and Space. IL products are manufactured with own indigenous technology of international standards.

Sectors served encompasses almost all sectors of process Industries like Thermal, Steel, Oil and Gas, Petrochemicals, Cement, Fertilizers, Chemicals, Refineries, Paper and Pulp, Sugar, Oil Pipelines, etc.

Started in 1974, IL has achieved full self-reliance in the field of Control valves, Bellow sealed valves, Butterfly Valves, Safety-Relief Valves, Power cylinders, Flow measuring equipment, pneumatic accessories etc. and has gone on to earn a fair name as a leader in providing products meeting the highest standards of quality and reliability not only to the core Indian industry, but also to the overseas market.

Today, Instrumentation Ltd., plays a vital support role for a very wide spectrum of flow control requirements of process industries.

With more than 50% customers/users are from private sector, IL has been able to meet the tight project delivery requirements of end users.

IL plays a crucial role in supporting the backbone of Indian economy, that is, the MSEs (Medium and Small Enterprises) which supply more that 65% of input material to IL.

The Design and Engineering department of IL is continuously updating its products with latest national and international standards and serve customers with non-standard customized products.

IL has supported critical missions of ISRO by supplying customized Control Valves to various units of ISRO for testing infrastructure used in Chandrayan and Gananyan missions.
